This position reports to the Senior Technical Advisor – Pharmacy
Job Summary
 Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Advisor – Pharmacy will provide
technical and programmatic support in strengthening pharmacy systems and
building pharmacist’s capacity on Best Practices in the provision of pharmaceutical
care for anti-retroviral therapy, prevention of mother to child transmission and
tuberculosis including inventory management and other related services at
community and hospital pharmacies.
 Will support capacity building of pharmacy staff to deliver high quality services for
HIV, TB/HIV and TB within supported health facilities and in the community.
Job Requirements
Education
 University Degree in Bachelors of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy
(Pharm D)
 Msc/MPH in Public Health or related field
Attributes:
 10 years post qualification experience
 5 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international pharmacy
development programs
 Experience in HIV/AIDS Monitoring and Evaluation
 Proficiency in MS Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and
other Office packages.
 Proficiency in the use of email and internet.
 Fluency in English; excellent communication and report writing skills required.

Technology to be used:
 Computer, Microsoft Office 365 (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail), database
(DHIS, LAMIS), office telephone, calculator, cell phone and printer/copier.

30%
